Martha has practiced law in Colorado for over 30 years, with an emphasis on estate planning, probate and elder law since 1987. As an undergraduate at the University of Wyoming, Martha was selected to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, national honorary societies. Martha graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law with honors. While there, she served as editor-in-chief of the Land and Water Law Review.
Martha is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, including the Trust and Estate and Solo/Small Firm Sections, and the Aurora Bar Association, for which she serves on the Board of Directors. She has served as a lecturer for Professional Senior Source and Senior Advantage Real Estate Council.
Martha is a volunteer with RESULTS, an organization committed to the end of hunger and poverty. She is also active in her church and in the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, including participation on the Public Affairs Committee.
Martha has three grown children, and she is married to a high school teacher.
